Oh yes, Jonathan had to "supervise"
The kids are home and it's cold outside, so it's time to keep them busy with a few Christmas traditions. We love to decorate cookies and we invite the neighbors to come share with us. We turned the Christmas music on and decorated cookies until we had no more room to put them! We also took on a new tradition this year - making Gingerbread houses! I got a great pattern from Karen Lewis (in our ward). They are made out of cardboard then glued candy on with Royal Icing. Very easy and very fun! We also watched Joy to the World a DVD from the church. The kids like watching that on Christmas Eve. When the kids went to bed Jonathan and I stayed up to watch It's a Wonderful Life. Just a note - we did not do this in one day; this was over a few days! It's been so nice for us all to be home together and to see Mariana helping Lydia with her new toys and Aaron and Ben playing nicely together. The niceness was sporadic but it did happen.
